      Contemporary Pool Landscaping

      By qwcdirect | July 5, 2010

Contemporary pool landscaping involves the incorporation of geometric and dimensional features borrowed form nature in the making of the water mass. The pool should ideally have a commonality with the surrounding physical environment achieved through technological simulation. The thing with modern architectural designs for pools is that they integrate the whole water body within a streamlined structure that seems to be naturally occurring rather than artificially made.

Some of these marvelous creations include imitation models of cliff side pools that have the look of disappearing into infinity by having an incline similar to that of a sheer cliff. Others are given glass walls to make them sync better with the natural surrounding. Lap pools constructed on high grounds also make for great scenic beauty. In terms of utility, contemporary pool landscaping is unmatched, using solar power and other technology to heat and cool the water and self-drain contaminated water with little manual labor required.
